Everything You Need to Know About Urn Towers

If you read the previous blog post you may already be familiar with the term urn towers. If not don’t worry, you’re going to learn all about them now! Since we plan to incorporate them at Greenacres Memorial Park we feel it’s important for you to understand more about them.

We’re looking forward to the concept and feel it will help provide a better range of services for those who choose cremation for their loved ones. Once you receive the remains it can be very confusing and difficult to decide what you should do with the ashes or where you should place the urn. The use of an urn tower will help give you a place to come to and remember your loved one.

Design & Stability

There are different styles of urn towers varying from one that holds just one urn to others that hold up to 4 different urns. When it comes to how they are configured and the number of urns in each, they can always be changed. The towers can be replaced with others having a higher holding capacity if necessary. This could be beneficial to you if you desire your family be in the same tower and need more space for urns.

Another great thing about them is that you’ll find they have a plaque with an engraving on the outside to serve as a memorial for the person whose remains are inside. This can be personalized to say whatever you like and suit your needs.

If you’re worried about the stability of the urn tower you’ll be happy to know it’s attached to a foundation using bolts that are found inside the urn tower. Also, the contents are inside are well protected from the weather, as they’re designed to be outside and withstand the elements.

Benefits of Urn Towers

We want to let you know some of the reasons why we are considering choosing the use of urn towers. They provide an ability to use parts of the grounds that aren’t suitable for standard graves which allows for an increased capacity in the cemetery.

Another way they are beneficial to us is the ability to install them in smaller quantities rather than a huge investment all at once. This way we can install them based on demand and save on initial costs as they will be spread out over time.

While there are many great benefits of urn towers to us as a funeral home we also believe they’re extremely beneficial to our customers. They allow you to have an experience similar to those of with a standard burial site so that you can also feel as though you have somewhere you feel comfortable to mourn your loved one.
